The Abbe presents the contemporary art of Jordan Bennett (Mi’kmaq) in this vividly colorful show. Mi’kmaw Tepgunsejig: 13 Moons Full Suite (May 2025 - October 2025) showcases Bennett’s visual examination of the Mi'kmaq lunar calendar. The dynamic print series draws elements of color and design from historical Mi’kmaq quillwork and petroglyphs (rock carvings) and thus are displayed in conversation with some of the phenomenal quillwork in the Abbe’s collections.
