Director of Advancement & Major Gifts

  • Type - Full Time, Experienced, with consideration for flexible or hybrid work schedules for qualified candidates.

  • Required Education - Undergraduate Degree (or Equivalent)

  • Salary - $90,000 - $110,000 with benefits

The Director of Advancement & Major Gifts will be a key member of the museum’s senior management team responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive advancement plan that generates strong support from diverse sources that meet our Strategic Plan goals. The Director also plays a key leadership role in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts from individual donors. They will work closely with theExecutive Director and collaborate with the Board of Directors on fundraising, organizational storytelling, and relationship management. Additionally, the Director of Advancement & Major Gifts will also serve as a cross-functional partner to the program, operations, and finance staff. To support these efforts, the Director will be resourced to hire for a secondary position, in addition to any necessary contract personnel.
